Emerge is more than just an add-on; it’s your gateway to a world of focus, inspiration, and goal achievement right from your New Tab page. Imagine transforming that empty space into a dedicated hub of motivation and productivity that helps you conquer both your personal and professional goals.

Installing Emerge
- Visit Emerge in the Chrome store and choose to Add Emerge to your browser.
- A permission pop-up will appear, click Add extension to install Emerge.
Take a Tour
After installing Emerge you start your experience with a tour for the extension.
Where to Find the Tour Guide?
In the bottom left of the screen, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
Click on the Tour and it will take you to the Tour guide.
Themes
Emerge provides you awesome and beautiful themes for your preferred happy images depends on your mood.
How to Set themes
In the bottom left of the screen, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
Select your preferred theme, there are 10 default themes and 1 personal theme available there for you to choose.
After selecting the desired theme, the background image will change and also the 6 background images related to the theme that is being chosen.
How to Use Photo Feed
By default, photos will appear in all categories when the photo feed toggle is turned off. Only personal photos will be displayed on your themes.
In the bottom left of the screen, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
Click on My photos and Upload your memorable photos by clicking the upload area and brows through your files or drag and drop your personal images
Click on themes and then click photo feed
Click on emerge photos toggle to turn off emerge images from showing
Note: Emerge photo toggle cant be turned off if you have not uploaded any of your personal photos
You background and theme will change to which theme has available personal photo.
Click back to set themes and all personal photo will show as ‘(1)‘ if there are any personal photo on the themes
My photos
Memories preserved, shared, and cherished in ‘My Photos.’
How to Upload Your Personal Photo
On the bottom Left of the screen, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
Click on My photos and Upload your memorable photos by clicking the upload area and brows through your files or drag and drop your personal images
All uploaded images can be seen on All photos and Assign themes
View all your Personal Photos in all Photos
On the bottom Left of the screen, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
Click on My photos and then click all photos to view all personal photos from each Themes
Personal photos can be Favorite on all photos. can Only Favorite 5 personal photos each category
You can hover your mouse on a personal photo and you can access edit photo theme
You can Select any themes to assign to for the personal photo selected and Save, Cancel your changes or even Delete your personal photo.
How to Assign your Personal Photos to Other themes
On the bottom Left of the screen, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
Click on My photos and Upload your memorable photos by clicking the upload area and brows through your files or drag and drop your personal images
Click on Assign Themes and you will see you personal photo
Hover your mouse on the Personal Photo and click the 
to access the Edit Photo Theme
Click on Select Theme and choose Pets then click Save
Your personal photo is now added on Pets Theme
Click Themes and your personal photo now shows on pet themes
View all your Personal Photos on a Slideshow
On the bottom Left of the screen, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
Click on my photos and select slideshow to Photo slide show for all uploaded photos
Image Adjustment

How to Use Image Adjustment
Image Adjustment only works on your personal photos
On the bottom Left of the screen, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
Click on My photos and Upload your memorable photos by clicking the upload area and brows through your files or drag and drop your personal images
Click on themes and double click on my photos theme
Image adjustment will show on the bottom right
You can now fine-tune your background for a more enjoyable viewing experience.
How to Hide/Show Image Adjustment Shortcut
In the bottom left of the screen of your emerge page, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
Click on Shortcut and then turn off the toggle for world clock
In the bottom right the Image Adjustment shortcut is now hidden.
To bring back the world clock shortcut back go to Settings Icon ⚙️ , Click on shortcut then turn on the toggle for world clock.
Background Image
Receive a boost of energy each day as Emerge transports you to the most beautiful landscapes on (and beyond) Earth!
Emerge’s daily landscape photo changes each day every 24 hours , just like your Quotes.
How to change your background image
In the bottom right of the screen there is a Custom background icon. There you can change up to 6 background images.
After clicking the icon, it is showing the 6 background images.
How to hide/show custom background shortcut
In the bottom left of the screen of your emerge page, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
Click on Shortcut and then turn off the toggle for world clock
In the bottom right the World clock shortcut is now hidden.
To bring back the world clock shortcut back go to Settings Icon ⚙️ , Click on shortcut then turn on the toggle for world clock.
Finding your background photographer
In the bottom left of the screen of your emerge page, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
In the bottom right of the Settings Menu click the 
icon and you’ll find the one who took the photo.
To visit the photographer’s profile by clicking “freephotocc” name click their name.
Favorite and unfavorite a photo
If the daily photo makes your day, show it some love and favorite it!
To favorite a photo, In the bottom right of the screen there is a change background icon.
To Favorite, click the Heart ♡ icon that appears on the upper left of the picture.
To unfavorite, hover your mouse cursor over the location again and click the Heart ♥ icon.
Quotes
Learn from the wise words of others with Emerge’s daily quote. You’ll see a new quote display at the bottom of your Emerge page each day.
Enabling/disabling quotes
Quotes is Disable by default. To see the Quotes in Emerge, In the bottom left of the screen, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
To turn Quotes on or off, find the Quotes option then click the toggle to the right of it.
When Quotes is enabled, “Quotes” will be display at the Middle bottom of your Emerge page.
To see the author of your active quote, hover your mouse cursor over the quote at the bottom of Emerge
How to change quotes
On the bottom Left of the screen, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
Click on quotes, there is 10 available quotes category to suit your mood today.
Select the desired Quote that suits your mood today.
After selecting the desired quote, it will show up in the middle bottom of the screen.
Weather
Emerge keeps an eye on your local weather info, so you don’t have to. Your local information is conveniently displayed at the top right corner of Emerge.
How to see forecast data in weather
Weather is enabled by default. To see the forecast data in Emerge, click the weather in the top right after that it will show the weather data in your current city.
Clicking the Hourly Forecast will show the Hourly weather.
Enabling/disabling Weather
In the bottom left of the screen, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
To turn Temperature on or off, find the Temperature option then click the toggle to the right of it.
Changing the temperature
To change the weather unit between Celsius or Fahrenheit, click the Settings icon ⚙️In the bottom left of the screen of your emerge page.
Click Weather, there you can select the desire temperature unit between Celsius or Fahrenheit.
World Clock
Emerge’s World Clocks make scheduling around time zones a breeze! Add multiple clocks to your Emerge new tab so you can clearly see what time it is in other parts of the world.
Enabling/disabling world clock
In the bottom left of the screen of your emerge page, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
To turn World Clock on or off, find the World Clock option then click the toggle to the right of it.
How to hide/show world clock shortcut
In the bottom left of the screen of your emerge page, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
Click on Shortcut and then turn off the toggle for world clock
In the bottom right the custom background shortcut is now hidden.
To bring back the world clock shortcut back go to Settings Icon ⚙️ , Click on shortcut then turn on the toggle for world clock.
How to setup shortcut & setting world clock
Click on the World Clock icon the the bottom right of the screen or click the Settings Icon ⚙️ and find the World Clock option then click the world clock icon on the top right of the settings.
Clicking the world clock icon, it will show the search box. There you can search country code, time zone and country.
After selecting the desired cities it will show in the right top of the screen, There you can add three cities at max.

Removing the cities
After click the world clock icon shortcut or world clock setting it will show the cities that’s been selected next to that there is a remove button ( x ).

Priority
Start each day on the right foot by entering the main thing you want to accomplish into the Priority for today section at the top Left of Emerge.
Enabling/disabling priorities
Priority is Disable by default. To see the Priority in Emerge, In the bottom left of the screen, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
To turn Priority on or off, find the Priority option then click the toggle to the right of it.
When Priority is enabled, “What is your priority for today?” will be display at the top left of your Emerge page.
Setting up a priority
To set today’s priorities, click “What is your priority today?“, type in the main thing that you want to achieve today, and then press the enter/return ↵ key on your keyboard. To complete “My priority is”, hover your mouse cursor over your Focus and then click the checkbox to the left of it.
Enter what is your priorities for today (e.g “Prepare dinner for the kids”)
Press ‘Enter‘ A new task has been added right after hitting the enter button.
Adding & accomplishing priority
Emerge’s Today’s priority is a simple task manager that is always close by. Use it to quickly add, view, and complete the tasks that come up in your day-to-day life.
To add a new task, click “What is your priority for today?” at the top left corner of Emerge, type in a task, and then press the enter/return ↵ key on your keyboard. To complete a task, simply click the checkbox to the left of it.

Enter what task you want to do “Water the plants” a new My priority is being added in the center of the screen.
Click the “…” then click accomplish when the task is completed.
Dark Mode
Experience less glare and improved readability in dark environments
How to change to dark mode
On the bottom Left of the screen, click the Settings Icon ⚙️.
To turn Dark mode on, find the Quotes option then click the toggle to the right of it.
